Tickets for Nunsense On Sale April 3rd!
We're very excited to announce that tickets to our Spring production, Nunsense (running May 24th to June 1st) will go on sale on April 3rd! Get the best seats early as we now offer assigned seating. Nunsense is a hilarious spoof about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia Child of God. Thus, the remaining nuns – ballet-loving Sister Leo, street-wise Sister Robert Anne, befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia, the Mother Superior Sister Regina, and mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert – stage a talent show in order to raise the money to bury their dearly departed. With catchy songs and irreverent comedy, Nunsense is sure to keep audiences rolling with laughter. This show is suitable for everyone!
Fall/Spring Performances
In other news, we will be finalizing our Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 play selections shortly. We are very interested in getting new community members involved with RAPA so if you are interested in acting, directing, producing, working on our stage or technical crews or volunteering in any way, please contact us at info@rapa.ca. There are so many fun ways to get involved. No experience required and we will be happy to provide training where needed! Community theatre is a fun way to get involved with the Arts and some real nifty people!
Great things are coming for the 24/25 season!
Finally, we will be shifting our seasons to better line up with both the school year and most theatre groups. The 24/25 season will be announced shortly along with our Patron programs and will correspond to our Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 productions. We truly value you, our past Patrons, and hope we can welcome your patronage again! We are looking for show Sponsors for our Nunsense production and our 24/25 season with information found at www.rapa.ca.
We have a lot of exciting things planned for this year and next including a new Membership that will keep you in the loop with your community theatre as well as offer perks so stay tuned for that as well.
